Vintage’s College and Career group has been steadily growing since we started and we are exited to see people stepping into leadership roles in the areas of music, youth, audio/video and church operations. Our missional communities have been growing and it has been fun to see all the ideas for missions coming out of the groups.  Please pray for us as we continue to forge ahead with plans to impact the community and neighbourhood with the message of the Gospel.

We are thankful for God’s work amongst us.  Our fall ministries got off to a great start – youth, Sunday School, small groups and others.  It began with a baptismal service and 5 new members received into church membership.  The youth started off with a bbq with good attendance.  On October 28 we had a fall carnival for the community to which we specifically invited children who had attended our VBS and their parents.  We had 80 children and adults who stayed for the puppet show and devotional time.  Others just stopped by.  At the moment we have a good number attending a class  preparing for baptism and church membership.  Once a month the men meet for a prayer breakfast which is attended by 16 – 20 men.  Ladies will have their annual Christmas Salad Supper on November 28 which is an outreach to family and friends.  Please pray for us, as we continue to minister in our community and beyond.

We are thoroughly enjoying and learning a lot through our two associate Pastors.  During the summer, we had 6 kids attend Good Spirit Camp.  We ran a great 5 Day Club and had many kids attended who do not normally come to our church.  Some made decisions for Christ!  Help us pray for church growth, more consistency in church attendance,  and more teachers for the Sunday School so we can divide the age groups (good problem to have).

SBA Church of the week of Oct. 9: Vintage Church, Regina.

Pastors Luke (Sara) Miller, Austin Ramstead

On September 11th after over a year of praying and planning about what a church plant would look like for both Calvary Baptist and the SBA we saw the opening of Vintage Church. Our soft opening brought about 40 people together from all walks of life for an evening of music, teaching, and sharing where God is calling us.   Pray for our leadership team: Luke Miller, Sara Miller, Ken Solberg, Seth Tyler, & Austin Ramstead as move ahead with God’s plan to serve our neighbourhood, share the Gospel, and build His kingdom.  Many of the people walking in the doors do not know God, are asking questions about him for the first time, or have not been active in a church.  Please pray for us as we minister to this new community and the neighborhood around it.

SBA Church of the week of Oct 2: Esterhazy Baptist Church.
